About Us

Windhorse Counseling has been changing lives and empowering our clients since 2014. Our name was inspired by the Windhorse, “a mythical horse, famous throughout Central Asia, who rides through the sky and is the symbol of a person’s energy and discipline to uplift him or herself,” (Windhorse Project, founder Dr. Edward Podvoll). We strive to help you tap into your Windhorse to live your happiest, most full life.

What People Are Saying

Julie is probably the most compassionate and empathetic counselor I have ever encountered. We saw her for 8 years before we moved to another state. Our son was at his very lowest and my husband and I were at a loss… he had trust issues and wouldn’t open up to anyone right away it always took some time for him to be at ease, but he saw Julie once and trusted her right away. The tools she used and taught him to use have stayed with us, he is now 20 and thriving!”

My children have worked with Julie for several years off and on. She has been super instrumental in their emotional development. I am very grateful with her approach and really caring about families. Thanks Julie!!!

Julie is amazing!!! I love her!!

I have seen multiple therapists over the years but no one beats Jeff. He is incredibly patient and a great listener. He has helped me develop and hone “realistic-for-me” tools to work through issues like communication, relationships, self esteem, anxiety, or general life changes that I struggled with overcoming. I’m so glad to have found Jeff and would absolutely recommend him, 10/10!
